WALESKA, Ga. - On Monday, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) revealed their Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. Milligan University took home the women's Track Athlete of the Week honor, as Ellen-Mary Kearney achieved her second award of the indoor season after her Milligan-record performance at the ASICS Sound Invite in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Kearney ran to the tune of a 4:45.42 clip in the women's seeded Mile run at the ASICS Sound Invite at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, That time is an NAIA 'A' standard, by far, and also constituted a new Milligan record, as she broke the record that she previously set this season at 'Twas the Meet Before Christmas (4:48.04) on the same track in December.
