MILLIGAN, Tenn. – Milligan University's golf programs are ready to commence their 2026 spring campaigns with high hopes and a challenging schedule, released by head coach
Tony Wallingford.
Spring begins with the men's trip to Henderson, Nev. for the Intercollegiate at Lake Las Vegas, hosted by Rocky Mountain College (Mont.) at Reflection Bay Golf Course. The event takes place on March 3-4 to open the season.
The No. 24-ranked Milligan women will play their first tournament in Savannah, Ga., where they will compete in the Savannah Invitational, hosted by Savannah State University (Ga.) at Crosswinds Golf Course on March 9-10.
Continuing their season, the women will head to the Agnes McAmis Memorial in Jonesborough, Tenn. at The Crossings Golf Course on March 16-17 to round out tourneys in back-to-back weekends.
Then, the men play their second event of the spring the following weekend at the Koala Classic in Columbia, S.C. on March 23-24. The event will be hosted by Columbia College (S.C.) at Timberlake Country Club.
The headlining event for Milligan golf's spring regular season is the East Tennessee Collegiate at Johnson City Country Club on April 7. The event is the lone hosted tournament of the spring for the men and women, as they look forward to defending their titles from the 2025 version of the event.
Both squads will then hit the road for Middle Tennessee, where they will take part in the Music City Classic, hosted by Cumberland University at The Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville, Tenn. The two-day event takes place on April 13-14.
On April 20-22, the AAC/NAIA Direct Qualifier for the men will be in session, as the Barnsley Resort – Fazio Course will play host to all AAC squads in Adairsville, Ga. shooting for a chance to qualify for the NAIA National Championships.
A week later, the women's AAC/NAIA Direct Qualifier heads to the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Ga., where the nationally-ranked Lady Buffs will be in search of a return to the top of the conference podium and a automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships.
If the Milligan men qualify for nationals, they will be headed to TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. on May 12-15. The women would play their national event on May 19-22 in Ypsilanti, Mich. at the Eagle Crest Golf Club.
